Membership of the vineyard makes you part of the Mellor wine-making community. The money we raise from members will allow us to get off the ground, by getting the vines in the ground. It secures you a case of wine once our first harvest is ready and a host of other benefits. Think of it like crowd funding.
As with all start-ups, there is a risk of failure; vines may perish, harvests may fail. We have done our due diligence; we have been working with a vineyard in Hathersage, wine producers and specialists in vineyard establishment. We still need to make sure that everyone is aware that there is a risk that wine production may be delayed, or in the worst case scenario, not delivered.
But we are wine glass half full people and we hope you are too.

Volunteering At The Vineyard
Now the vines are planted, we’ll need help with pruning in the winter-time, tucking in during the spring and summer, weeding (constantly) and of course, harvest in the autumn.
